          From Madison in Jefferson County, along the lazy Ohio  River to Rising Sun in Ohio County, the history of the area can be seen in beautiful architecture along quaint tree-lined streets. Further upriver to Lawrenceburg in Dearborn County, a traveler can enjoy a drive that rarely leaves the banks of the river. Traveling west into Versailles in Ripley County, a state park & covered bridges will lure those who enjoy outdoor activities.
